![]() I tried to explain to him that I paid through the app and that he should go check his computer. About ten minutes later the bartender showed up with a bouncer and started yelling at me saying “what!? Are you just gonna crumple your bill and walk away like that!?” … I was completely lost and taken aback and felt very embarrassed. I then walked away to find somewhere comfortable on a couch to sit. I ordered a beer, asked him for the check, took the 4 digits at the bottom of the check and paid it with the InKind app. Once she figured it out, all was good and first bill was paid. My first server Crystal was unsure of the app, but was humble and open to learning about it. It makes it very easy for customers to just come in and basically pay on your phone. There is an app called InKind that the Bungalow partners with that you can purchase credit to use at the Bungalow through the app. I went back on a Wednesday and had one of the worst experiences in my life. Long story short on this one, it was okay… I stood in line for about 30 minutes prior to being able to enter. ![]() I don’t know how they come up with these numbers or if they just wing it. The door guy sold a table for 3 people for 450.00. You aren’t allowed to sit in many areas due to people reserving tables for table service. Saturday it was packed shoulder to shoulder. When you see reviews stating that this “has a house party feel”, it definitely does on the weekends. I do so because the first night I came, I felt as though I didn’t get a real feel of it because it was a Saturday. Not sure why kids are allowed up there when it's clearly an adult lounge / bar scene. That was a bummer to see given the high-end image this place portrays and the prices they charge.Īnother problem is that there was a multi family party next to us with random kids storming one of the corner couches. They weren't short staffed, as we could see 3-4 staff members at any given time chilling around the bar socializing. After that, we were assigned a different waiter who then half-checked up on us every now and then. So, we grabbed our own drinks from the bar and brought them back to our table. Our original waiter disappeared after placing our drinks, and it wasn't until we physically went to the bar to go check on them a solid 20 minutes later did we find they were sitting there on the counter waiting to be served. The biggest negative was the poor service. Went during the afternoon and there was plenty of room it seemed. The views from this lounge are top notch as far as Irvine can provide, and the drinks are tasty too. Loved the poke tacos & the orange liquor drunken donuts. If I were to do it again, I would plan reservations at 830 or 9pm. ![]() The fireworks were the highlight of the night, with the Corresponding Disney music piped through the rooftop speakers. The point is the great view of California Adventure with a clear view of Cars land & the ferris wheel. We tried to time our reservation to the sunset & fireworks. You have a 15 minute window to arrive & you only have 2 hours max to sit your table (as they already have it reserved for someone else). ![]() You have 29 days advance reservations, but you can be put on the wait list & they will text you if a slot opens up. ![]() The are serious about their reservations. The food is good & if you make it on fireworks night, it's magical. Loved the atmosphere created by this place. ![]()
